HYBRID

SIMULACRA OF MODERN CITY The spatial characteristics and the perception of people walking in it change with the changes in spatial scale and density, which applies to both physical space and functional levels. Urban commercial such as cafe and restaurants are introduced in. As a mini city, if you walk from one end to the other, it tries to provide you with a continuous and changing spatial experience - from open to narrow, clear to blurred, and sometimes, you will even get lost in the labyrinth formed by the high walls at the end.

PRIMITIVE A space surrounded by plants with surreal associations. The sensual part of human beings may tell them such an illusion - they are in a dense forest. To some extent, it attempts to evoke a glimpse of the primitive environment before the formation of the city. It is an experimental experiment in the creation of living space.

NEO PRIVATE-PUBLICUsually, even private residential units have relatively public/shared areas, such as living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bathrooms, etc. What will happen if we further extract these shared spaces scattered in regular residential units and make them form separate spaces with corresponding functions shared by the community at the community scale? How can they be organically intertwined with more private rest spaces/bedrooms?
